The Bureau of Engraving and Printing Building through cherry trees. It's amazing how something as fragile as a cherry blossom can have as much a sense of timelessness as a large granite building. Doesn't it make you wonder if all of our building is just vanity? Bureau of Engraving and Printing with cherry trees in front
The Jefferson Memorial. There were was music coming from in front of the steps and a small crowd gathered there. Jefferson Memorial behind cherry blossoms
A freshly painted walkway and stand are being readied for special events. Just to the left of the stand is a stone pagoda seen below. A runway has been roped off after being freshly painted

This is the top of the pagoda. There was a ranger and small group surrounding the pagoda and I'm sure it's connected to the 3,700 cherry trees from Japan.

This is the walkway around the tidal basin. This part is near a small marina where you can rent the paddle boats like the one you see in the foregrand.

The bridge in the background is the Outlet Bridge.
