Cherry Festival Tidal Basin

This trailer is for the Cherry Festival and houses a small display in side. There are also portable toilets just to the right of the trailer.

I didn't see any water in the area and it was a hot enough day that I should have been drinking some. You might want to bring your own, as delays will probably be longer than you expect.

You can see the Tidal Basin Boathouse where paddle boats are available for rent. There are two-person and four-person boats available. The last I heard they were $8 and $16 an hour rspectively. The Tidal Basin Boathouse

There were thousands of people around and under the trees while I was there. I overheard a lot of languages, but one language seemed more prevalant than others. That was Japanese. And it's good to know that those who provided such a gift are able to enjoy them too.
